'In theory there is gravitational attraction between every drop of seawater and even the outmost star of the universe'.

This quote by Rachel Carson, scientist and ecologist, has informed this series, some of which has been printed on old, weathered sailcloth which has a unique history of its own.

The phases of the moon and their effect upon the tides, and celestial navigation at sea are both starting points for this work.

I have displayed just a few of the pieces that I have made - I am always creating more - they are framed and can be viewed in the studio.
